Part 3

I got my prescription and took it straight to the pharmacy, and waited about 20 minutes for it. Because the buses were acting up, I had to catch a cab home. The ride started off perfectly fine… until I got closer to home. Suddenly, the worst wave of car sickness hit me. I literally ran into the house and straight to the bathroom—fully convinced something was about to come out of either end.

Afterwards, I showered and just sat still while my children wrapped their arms around me. My husband held everything together—even though I know he was probably feeling just as rough as I was. Eventually, after dozing off on the couch, it was time for bed.

When I got into bed, I felt that tug: Go read your Bible.
I opened to Jeremiah 33… and as soon as I read the very first sentence, the Lord spoke so clearly to my heart.

It said, “Now the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah a second time while he was still shut up in prison.”Right there, God reminded me:
He sent His word to Jeremiah in prison.
He met Jonah in the belly of the fish.
He showed up for Paul and Silas while they were locked away.
David said, “Where can I go from Your presence? If I make my bed in hell, You are there.”

And that’s when I heard the Lord say so gently, “No matter where you are, I will send My Word. I will find you. Even if you’re lost in the crowd at A&E, I will find you.”

I don’t know where you are right now or what you’re facing. But I do know this: God has His eyes on you.
His Word is coming for you—steady, strong, and ready to hold you together when you feel like you’re falling apart.
He will not give up on you.

He loves you, and He has a plan for your life. You’re alive today because you have a divine destiny to fulfil.

Hold on. God is closer than you think or feel!
