This season often brings a time of reflection. It’s natural to pause and look back at the journey we’ve walked this year. For many, this reflection brings joy as we see growth, accomplishments, and blessings. However, for others, this same reflection can bring a wave of sadness, regret, or even despair. You may find yourself thinking, What have I really achieved this year? Why did things not work out the way I hoped? Perhaps this year has been filled with unexpected pain, heartbreak, or struggles that left you feeling stuck or overwhelmed. If that’s you, I want to remind you of something powerful today: God is not asking you to dwell on the past or what didn’t happen. Instead, He’s inviting you to focus on the present—the gift of right now.
The very fact that you’re alive today is proof of His faithfulness. God has carried you through every high and low, every victory and valley, and brought you to this very moment for a reason. You’re still here because He isn’t finished with you yet. He has a purpose, a plan, and a destiny uniquely designed for your life.
Yes, your story includes the hard moments, but God is in every detail—even the parts that didn’t make sense at the time. He works all things together for good (Romans 8:28), and that includes this past year. So instead of letting regret or pain weigh you down, choose to celebrate this moment. Look around. You’ve made it this far because God is sustaining you. His plans for you are not over. You’re not forgotten, and you’re not behind. You are His chosen vessel, and He’s equipped you to walk into 2025 with hope and purpose.
Even if you don’t have the answers yet—why did this happen? Or how will I move forward?—know that God does. Trust Him. The same God who has brought you through every storm is the One who holds your future in His hands.
I’m standing in faith with you, believing that 2025 will be a year where you’ll see God’s promises unfold in ways you never imagined. Keep trusting, keep hoping, and don’t lose heart. God has something beautiful in store for you!
