Exodus 3:7-8 NKJV And the Lord said: “I have surely seen the oppression of My people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows. So I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up from that land to a good and large land…”
The other night, my husband shared this scripture, and it truly touched my heart. I felt led to share it with you, hoping that it will encourage and bless you as much as it did me.
As you go about your day today, I want you to know something important: God sees you. He sees the oppression you’re under, the challenges you face, and the burdens you carry. He sees the tears you cry, whether they’re in the quiet of the night or in plain sight of others. If you’ve ever felt invisible, unnoticed, or undervalued, remember this—God sees you for who you truly are. You are never hidden from His loving gaze.
But He doesn’t stop at seeing you. God hears you! He hears every word you’ve whispered in prayer and every cry that came from the depths of your heart. Whether you’ve spoken your struggles aloud or kept them locked away, His ears are attentive to your voice. Don’t think for a moment that your words, your cries, or even your silent prayers go unnoticed. God is listening, and He hears you clearly.
Not only does He see and hear you, but He knows you. He knows the sorrow you carry, the pain that weighs on your heart, and the heaviness you sometimes feel in your soul. Even when the people around you don’t seem to understand or recognise what you’re going through, God knows. He understands every emotion, every doubt, and every fear you’re wrestling with.
Here’s the beautiful part: because God sees, hears, and knows, He acts! In Exodus, He said, “I have come down to deliver them.” The same God who delivered the Israelites from slavery is the same God who steps into your life today. Whatever you’re facing, know that He is stepping in to deliver you, to rescue you from whatever has you bound. He’s not just bringing you out of trouble—He’s taking you to a better place. A good and spacious land. A place of hope, peace, and fulfilment where you can experience the fullness of His promises.
So, as you read this, take hold of the truth that God is offering His hand to you today. Trust Him to lead you out of the darkness and into the light of His love. You are the one He sees, hears, and knows—because you are the one He loves.
